Lentils

Ingredients

  • 105 grams (1/2 cup) red or green lentils
  • 1 cup water or vegetable broth

Directions

  1. Rinse lentils thoroughly.
  2. Place water and lentils in pot and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce boil to simmer. Cook split red lentils 6-7 minutes. Cook green lentils 15 minutes.
  4. Let sit 5 minutes.
  5. Drain excess water and season with salt.
