Cook times and method for lentils
Lentils
Ingredients
- 105 grams (1/2 cup) red or green lentils
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
Directions
- Rinse lentils thoroughly.
- Place water and lentils in pot and bring to boil.
- Reduce boil to simmer. Cook split red lentils 6-7 minutes. Cook green lentils 15 minutes.
- Let sit 5 minutes.
- Drain excess water and season with salt.
