Open Face Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 slices of bread
  • sea salt
  • black pepper

Directions

  1. Toast bread to desired doneness.
  2. Halve avocado, remove seed with knife. Scoop 1 half of avocado on each slice of toast. Mash with fork.
  3. Salt and pepper each slice equally with a pinch of sea salt and 2 grinds black pepper.

Although complicated, once perfected, this versatile dish can be served as the main course for breakfast or as a snack.
